Brew Two

On Saturday, we knocked out our second brew. Things went much smoother.
Brewed:
Deep copper colored Pale Ale
Malts: Nearly 80% Maris Otter with CaraMunich I and II and some Light Munich in the mix.
Hops: Columbus, Centennial and Amarillo
O.G. of 17.9 degrees Plato.

Peter promptly let me know that yesterdays IPA came in at 20.7 and not 19.3 degrees Plato. It should be a strong one when done fermenting.

  1. Hello, Thought i would get in on the ground floor and ask if any of your beers will be vegan meaning they do not contain any animal products or were refined with animal products (such as milk, eggs, honey, etc) or are animal products used in the processing/filtration of the product (such as isinglass, gelatin, etc, activated carbon filters)?

    I appreciate your help~!

  2. No animal products in our beer. Carbon filtration of city water using plant materials as the carbon, not animal. Cheers.
